Aarika Cofer began her hospitality career by working in the food and beverage industry in Washington, DC in 2007. Starting as a restaurant host, she transitioned into service, bartending, and eventually catering management for weddings. In the summer of 2013, Aarika tapped into her passion for event design by working as a floral assistant for Posh Florals in Dallas, TX. While pursuing her master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, she chose to continue to perfect her craft by working with catering companies to help execute designs for creative “pop-up” dinners. After a 4-year career in management consulting, Aarika combined her client management skills, attention to detail, and passion for event design to create RosesRntRed Event Design + Production which she operates with her mother, Rose.
RosesRntRed Events is a modern and transformational event design and experience curation business. Their mission is to execute experiences that are creative, visually appealing, functional, inspiring, and influential. Aarika is also the co-owner of Lo’ & Rosie Creative Studio in Dallas, TX. Lo’ & Rosie is a creative space with a mission to provide an affordable, unbiased, and safe environment for creatives and entrepreneurs of color. Aarika is a wife, a mom of 3 amazing kids, a believer, a dreamer, and an achiever. In her free time, Aarika likes to get dressed like she is going to work out but magically ends up going to brunch instead.
